Vangelis'sweeping score to Ridley Scott's 1992 historical epic1492: Conquest of Paradiseis being reissued on vinyl for the first time since its original release. This new edition is pressed on 2LP Yellow Flame marble vinyl and housed in a gloss-laminated outer sleeve.
The accompanying CD reissue includes two bonus tracks: "Line Open" and "Landscape." A cinematic and emotional composition,1492features the iconic title theme "Conquest of Paradise," which went on to chart internationally and became one ofVangelis'most recognizable pieces.
