Godflesh Decay - golden nugget vinyl LP

Godflesh follow Purge with Decay, a six-track album on golden nugget vinyl LP, drawn from the same sessions as its predecessor.

Justin Broadrick and Ben Green push their industrial metal into bleaker territory, built around grinding repetition, mechanised rhythms and Broadrick’s formidable vocals. The sprawling opener ‘Master and Slave’ and crawling closer ‘Consume Me’ form the record’s centre of gravity, together accounting for half its running time. With Broadrick confirming that Godflesh is nearing its end, Decay stands as the band’s tenth and penultimate album after almost four decades of abrasive, uncompromising music.
