fluXus - Ghost Signs

fluXus with Ghost Signs, on blue vinyl LP, via Castles in Space

Cornwall-based fluXus, aka Nigel Rushbrook, brings a darker cast to electronic music on Ghost Signs. Vintage analogue and virtual synths, old-school effects and Berlin School-style sequencing feed into music inspired as much by A. E. Housman as cosmic exploration. Across pieces including ‘Cannon Street’, ‘Outremer’ and ‘Ancient Lights’, Rushbrook moves through London streets, Alexandrian deserts and traces of lost histories, using astronomical space as a stand-in for emotional distance.
