30th Anniversary 2LP vinyl pressing of Fatboy Slim Better Living Through Chemistry album.
Fatboy Slim's debut, Better Living Through Chemistry, landed in 1996 and helped shift electronic music into the mainstream. At a key moment in UK club culture, it fused big beat, acid house energy and sample-led experimentation into something playful, direct and distinctly British.
With Everybody Needs a 303, Going Out of My Head and The Weekend Starts Here, Norman Cook laid down the blueprint for a sound that would shape late-'90s pop culture.
To mark 30 years of Norman Cook's career as Fatboy Slim, BMG reissue Better Living Through Chemistry, which also turns 30 in September. The 2LP is remastered at half speed and includes new liner notes by Alexis Petridis. The 2CD adds a bonus disc, b-sides and a brand-new remix, plus the Alexis Petridis notes.
