Mint and Sealed is hosting a listening party for Jack White - Frozen Charlotte

Join us at Mint and Sealed in Newport Market on Wednesday 8th July at 6pm, for a special listening party to celebrate the release of Jack White's Frozen Charlotte. 

Listen to the full album on the night and buy and take home your indie exclusive vinyl LP two days before official release. Attendees will be gifted party favours while stocks last, like safety cards, free to all attendees, and Frozen Charlotte stamp sheets, for album buyers.

There will also be a competition to win a signed test pressing of the album, as part of the £1 ticket to guarantee your place, (which also gets you a Welsh cake). Attendance at the event is essential to enter the competition for the test press.

We’ll start spinning the album at around 630pm. The event should close by 730pm.

Here's what to expect from the evening....

  1. The shop may close at 5ish and re-open just before 6pm for the listening party
  2. There's lots of food to choose from before and after the event from the food court
  3. At 6pm you can come into the shop and you'll be given the safety manual brochure, can pick up a Welsh cake from Rogue Welsh Cakes, and grab your raffle ticket to win the signed test pressing. 
  4. The new Jack White album will be played in full between around 630 and 730ish
  5. Straight after, there will be a raffle draw to select the winner of the free test pressing vinyl copy, at random. 
  6. Throughout you can browse for vinyl and order a copy of Frozen Charlotte, to take home on the night, two days before release!  

Things to bear in mind...

  • I'll be taking pics throughout the night and sharing them on socials. Let me know if you'd rather not be involved, or hide behind your fringe or something. 
  • It will be 1x raffle ticket per person. 
  • It may just be me working but I'll do my best to make things efficient and pleasant for everyone.
  • Please enjoy the listening experience in your own way without hindering anyone else's listening experience. 
  • There will be some ambient noise from the food court - even with the album on nice and LOUD. 
  • Feel free to browse the shelves during the evening and you're welcome to buy any other titles, too
  • Cash and card are accepted.
  • There are two car parks nearby - the closest is the NCP. There is also the Friars Walk car park.
