Mint and Sealed is hosting a listening party for Good Kid - Can We Hang Out Sometime?

Join us at Mint and Sealed in Newport Market on Thursday April 2nd at 6pm, for a special listening party to celebrate the release of Good Kid's Can We Hang Out Sometime?

Listen to the full album on the night and buy and take home your indie exclusive vinyl LP a day before official release. Free pin badges will be available too.

There will also be a competition to win a copy of the album, as part of the £1 ticket (which also gets you a Welsh cake)

We’ll start spinning the album at around 630pm. The event should close by 730pm.

Here's what to expect from the evening....

1. The shop will close at 3pm and re-open just before 6pm for the listening party
2. There's lots of food to choose from before and after the event from the food court
3. At 6pm you can come into the shop and you'll be given a free pin badge, can pick up a Welsh cake from Rogue Welsh Cakes, and grab your raffle ticket to win one copy of the album. 
   
4. The new Good Kid album will be played in full between around 630 and 730ish
5. Straight after, there will be a draw to select the winner of the free vinyl copy, at random. 
6. Throughout you can browse for vinyl and order a copy of Can We Hang Out Sometime, to take home on the night, a day before release!  
   

Things to bear in mind...

• I'll be taking pics throughout the night and sharing them on socials. Let me know if you'd rather not be involved, or hide behind your fringe or something. 
• It will be 1x raffle ticket per person. 
• It may just be me working but I'll do my best to make things efficient and pleasant for everyone.
• Please enjoy the listening experience in your own way without hindering anyone else's listening experience. 
• There will be some ambient noise from the food court - even with the album on nice and LOUD. 
• Feel free to browse the shelves during the evening and you're welcome to buy any other titles, too
• Cash and card are accepted.
• There are two car parks nearby - the closest is the NCP. There is also the Friars Walk car park.
