Mint and Sealed is hosting a listening party for Fontaines D.C. - Dopamine Chamber

Join us at Mint and Sealed in Newport Market on Thursday 8th October 2026 at 7pm, for a special listening party ahead of the release of Fontaines D.C's new album Dopamine Chamber. 

Listen to the full album on the night, at least a week before anyone else, and grab yourself a free merch bundle while stocks last. including a tote bag, 20 page zine, die-cut sticker and postcard set, and an A2 poster.

There will be a competition to win one of the following prizes as part of the £1 ticket to guarantee your place, (which also gets you a Welsh cake).

1st prize of a free copy of the Dopamine Chamber album on vinyl, to be collected on or after release date., 2nd, 3rd and 4th prizes of a £3 off voucher to be used on a pre-order of the album (can be applied retrospectively if already ordered)

Attendance at the event is essential to enter the competition.

We’ll start spinning the album at around 730pm. The event should close by 815pm.

Here's what to expect from the evening....

1. The shop may close at 3ish and re-open just before 7pm for the listening party
2. There's lots of food to choose from before and after the event from the food court. Ceylon M8 and Bonjuk are offering listening party customers 10% off a meal on the night.
3. At 7pm you can come into the shop and you'll be given the merch bundle, can pick up a Welsh cake from Rogue Welsh Cakes, and grab your raffle ticket to win the one of the prizes. 
   
4. The new Fontaines D.C. album will be played in full between around 730 and 810ish
5. Straight after, there will be a raffle draw to select the winner of the four prizes
6. Throughout you can browse for vinyl and order a copy of Dopamine Chamber, for collection on or after the release date of 16th October
   

Things to bear in mind...

• I'll be taking pics throughout the night and sharing them on socials. Let me know if you'd rather not be involved. 
• It will be 1x raffle ticket per person. 
• It may just be me working but I'll do my best to make things efficient and pleasant for everyone.
• Please enjoy the listening experience in your own way without hindering anyone else's listening experience. 
• There will be some ambient noise from the food court - even with the album on nice and LOUD. 
• Feel free to browse the shelves during the evening and you're welcome to buy any other titles, too
• Cash and card are accepted.
• There are two car parks nearby - the closest is the NCP. There is also the Friars Walk car park.
